At the foot of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Bayeux, the MAHB museum offers you a journey through Normandy's history.
Housed within Bayeux’s former episcopal palace, the Baron Gérard Museum of Art and History (MABH) offers an innovative scenography and fascinating insight into Normandy’s history, from prehistoric to modern times.
You can admire some 600 works of art (including paintings by the Impressionist artists Caillebotte, Boudin, etc.), together with objects unearthed during archeaological excavations throughout the Bessin area and Calvados, not forgetting exhibition areas devoted to Bayeux lace and porcelain.
A must do on your next trip to Normandy.
