Engraved in the stone above the church porch, you can read the names of William the Conqueror's 475 companions.
The church of Notre Dame was built during the 11th century and extended during the 14th and 15th centuries. It boasts remarkable stained glass windows.
Not to be missed: over 400 examples of sailors' graffiti engraved on the walls and a lepers' window, which can be seen from outside.
