The Château de Balleroy was built in 1631 by the famous French architect Mansart (who also designed the Château de Maisons-Laffitte). Come and discover the formal French gardens, or take a stroll through the landscaped garden - marked routes will take you past some hundred-year-old trees. Don’t forget to pop in to the tea room! And you can also visit the balloon museum (the castle was, for a long time, owned by Malcolm Forbes, an American with a passion for hot-air balloons. He devoted the castle outbuildings to creating his own museum).
