Exhibition devoted to the whale that beached on the shores of Luc sur Mer in 1885.
On the night of 14 to 15 January 1885, a 40-tonne and 19 metre-long whale beached on the shores of the Côte de Nacre coast, in the resort of Luc-sur-Mer, at a site called the ‘Brèche du Moulin’.
You can still see its skeleton in the public park, along with an exhibition at the Maison de la Baleine.
