In the immediate vicinity of the Saint Germain le Vasson Mining Museum, 40 hectares of woodland (property of the village council) welcome visitors.
Within this preserved area, the woods are home to species typical to the region such as chestnut, oak, ash and beech which, over the seasons, offer a splendid environment for a walk with the family, a hike with friends or simply a moment's respite and relaxation. The River Laize meanders throughout, continuing its route across the verdant meadows where herds come to graze all year long.
Picnic tables on site.
