Lena BIEHLER - Bayeux Dday Tour

ORGNOR014V536THT

Description

My name is Lena and I've been lucky enough to live in Normandy for 20 years. When I moved here, I had no idea that I would discover such a rich history in this region. As it happens, the town I moved to was liberated by the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division during the Second World War. Family members who took part in the war and my own passion for history naturally encouraged me to learn more about the D-Day landings and to visit the many museums in the area.

I have a master's degree in teaching and a bachelor's degree in tourism. For three years, I worked as a guide for local tourism companies in Normandy. During this time, I gained an in-depth knowledge of the D-Day landings and the history of beautiful Normandy towns such as Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur. I am now a certified guide of France, and have been running my own tourism business since March 2017.

Meeting new people and sharing my knowledge and passion for Normandy is a real pleasure for me. I don't just recite historical facts - I try to recreate the atmosphere of the different battles by telling engaging stories and using maps and photos. My tours are tailored to your interests and pace, and I always strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for my guests.

If you're looking for a friendly, easy-going guide who's passionate about the beauty and history of Normandy, I'd be delighted to welcome you on my tour.
