Parapente Mania, based in Clécy, in the heart of the picturesque Suisse Normande area, is a paragliding base for you to discover this thrilling sport in Normandy, all year long, during an initiation or a longer course.
Discover the thrills of tandem paragliding for your first outing – then, once you've got a taste for it, enrol on one of our courses. Flights are supervised by qualified, experienced instructors. With up-to-date equipment and in total safety, you'll discover the landscapes of Calvados from up above, as you fly over the Suisse Normande – located to the south of Caen (Clécy, Pont-d'Ouilly) – or over the historic beaches of the D-Day Landing beaches and the Second World War (Omaha Beach), from paragliding sites based in Vierville-sur-Mer, Commes and Tracy-sur-Mer (Arromanches). Flights are dependent on weather conditions, to ensure you enjoy your first flight in the best possible conditions. According to your group size, outings to the neighbouring region of Manche may be arranged, allowing you to fly over the southern Channel coasts at Granville, Carolles or Champeaux, in the bay and opposite Mont Saint-Michel. Parapente Mania also offers equipment for sale in its shop and online paragliding-equipment store (wing, harness, safety parachute, helmet, accessories, etc). You'll find all the biggest brands: Ozone, Sup'air, U-Turn, Woody Valley, Up and more. So, say goodbye to terra firma and take to the skies as you fly over Calvados with Parapente Mania.
