Located on the heights above Omaha Beach, the D-Day Omaha Museum offers a display of exceptional pieces and equipment used during the Normandy Landings.
As soon as you arrive, outside the museum you can admire the "Higgins Boat" LCPV barge, a German coastal defence armoured turret and several artillery pieces.
Inside the museum, you will discover a collection of rare pieces dating from World War II, such as a Goliath tank, a paratrooper's motorcycle and an Enigma cipher machine.
A slide show and several display cases also present a range of German, American and British objects, using technology that has contributed towards the devices we use today.
A comprehensive museum on the D-Day Landing beaches, located between the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and Pointe du Hoc.
