Franceville Sailing and Paddling Club (CVPF)

Located at the mouth of the River Orne, in the protected maritime area of Sallenelles bay, the CVPF offers a whole range of water sports and nautical activities for the public to enjoy.

Our club's instructors will be delighted to guide you, whether you're looking for introductory dinghy and catamaran lessons, or even the chance to try your hand at windsurfing. The Club de Franceville-Merville also specialises in kayaking and pirogue rowing, allowing you to take to the seas on a variety of different outings. More recently, the Club has extended its services to offer sea wading (also known as longe-côte). Finally, if you're looking to rent equipment in Franceville for a trip off the coast of Calvados in total freedom, the Sailing and Paddling Club offers everything you need at fantastic prices! From April onwards, you can also set off with the club's instructors to discover the Orne estuary on a multi-activity outing: with kayaks, paddleboards and pirogues. Experience the joy of discovering local plants and wildlife in this natural space.
