In Falaise, climbing rhymes with heritage! For indeed, the Mont Myrrha, made of Armorican sandstone, offers a fine climb opposite William the Conqueror’s castle and birthplace.
You will find eight climbing sectors, two of which are perfect for beginners, with a total of 55 routes, ranging from 3 to 7 and a height of 5 to 15 metres. Boulders have also been installed.
This climbing site is essentially south-facing. Surrounded by vegetation, it is first and foremost a site to visit in the spring and summer. A car park is located nearby and the climbing site can be accessed by a walking path.
You can purchase a topographical guide with route descriptions at the Falaise Suisse Normande Tourist Office.
