A masterpiece of Romanesque and Gothic art, the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Bayeux is one of Normandy's major heritage sites.
The cathedral was consecrated on the 14th of July 1077 in the presence of William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy and King of England, this veritable treasure of medieval Norman architecture was further embellished and added to during the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries.
Guided tours from July 3th to September 1st from mondays to fridays at 10am and 2.15pm.
