Jurques zoological park welcomes you for a great day out with the family, in the heart of the Normandy bocage, between Caen and Vire!
Come and encounter over 700 wild animals including exceptional white lions, along with West African giraffes, Chinese red pandas, Siberian tigers, Mongolian snow leopards, etc. A real-life tour of the animals of the world! And a total change of scenery reminiscent of the African and South-American plains, the African mountains, the Australian bush and, of course, the reptile village. Enter one of the largest aviaries in Normandy and approach the hyacinth macaw - the largest parrot in the world! Throughout the season, recreational and educational activities and demonstrations are proposed free of charge: meet the snakes, watch the penguins feed, the monkeys’ afternoon snack, mealtime for the wolves and lions. On site, the La Part du Lion restaurant and boutique, open in line with park opening dates. Snack bar open in July and August. Allow for at least two hours on site.
