Randonnée pédestre historique "L'acadienne" / Festival "La Semaine Acadienne 2024"

As part of the 17th edition of the festival "La semaine acadienne", the Acadian storyteller Marie-France Comeau (New Brunswick) will present her new story "Un bisou coquelicot" published by Bouton d'Or Acadie, about the importance of Remembrance Day in Canada and the symbol of the poppy.
Marie-France Comeau has already participated several times in the festival "La semaine acadienne". Her father-in-law, Isidore Cormier, was a member of the Acadian soldiers of the North Shore Regiment of New Brunswick who landed on June 6, 1944 on Juno Beach to liberate Saint-Aubin-sur-mer.
