Description
The Petit Foc association, based in Trouville-sur-Mer, is an association of traditional rigs, whose present aim is to rehabilitate a traditional shellfishing rig, the ‘François Monique’.
This shellfishing sloop from Brest harbour was first put to water in 1935 and has been sailing off the Calvados coast since 2008, thanks to the work of the association’s volunteers.
They also take part in nautical and maritime events that promote ‘old’ sailing, proposing boat trips from the Côte Fleurie coast to discover the pleasures of the sea. Come and join these ‘old men of the sea’ over some manoeuvres, historic snippets and simple pleasures…
