Description
Discover the Mesnil de Bavent Pottery, built in 1842, with its traditional Norman architecture.
There, you'll be able to admire the finials – these ceramic creations that can be seen on certain rooftops of Anglo-Norman villas along the coast and in the surrounding area. You'll make your way through the pottery workshop, where craftsmen shape blocks of clay before your eyes, perpetuating techniques passed down by potters since the 19th century. Finally, round off your tour in the manor, where furniture from the time of the building's construction can still be found.
