Come and enjoy a stroll through the Vallée des Jardins park, one of Caen’s green lungs.
Caen’s Valley des Jardins (literally the valley of gardens) is an 11-hectare green area open to all. It is the ideal spot for a breath of fresh air, and a pleasant walk away from the busy town centre. These old natural meadows have been redeveloped and are now home to an arboretum (birch, viburnum, maple, etc.) and plant collections (peonies, daylilies, etc.). Access to the park is via the Rue des Jardins or the Avenue de Courseulles.
