Côte Fleurie coast Pays d’Auge cycling route - portion between Mézidon-Canon and Livarot
From Mézidon-Canon, you will cycle for a few kilometres on narrow roads through the Pays d'Auge before joining the Vie greenway. The route runs alongside the Vie Valley with its dells, shaded prairies bursting with cider apple trees and ‘scattered’ with a few typical Normande cows. Along the way, you can admire some surprising manor houses and half-timbered farmhouses or picturesque rural churches. The region offers gourmets a vast range of country fare: cider, pommeau, calvados, cheese and farm produce abound to tantalise your taste buds. Horses are permitted on the greenway.
