Sometimes referred to as the ‘Petite Somme’, the Orne Bay offers a prime refuge and a haven of peace for the migratory birds that rest here on their long journey. Meander your way through the Gros Banc ornithological reserve where, over the seasons, sandpipers, penguins and, in particular, Kentish plovers come to nest and are the subject of special protection. Make sure you pay a visit to the nature and estuary centre to learn more about this sensitive natural area: exhibitions, discovery workshops, information, etc.
