In Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, you can make the most of the fine sands and the sea, or simply enjoy a stroll along the promenade in this seaside resort on Normandy’s Côte de Nacre coast.
In this former fishermen’s village in Calvados, set off on a tour of its picturesque alleys and fine 19th-century villas, take to the seafront to indulge in the many activities for all to enjoy: watersports with the Saint-Aubin saling club, building sand castles, bathing, strolling along the promenade or simply relaxing.
For your peace of mind and your safety, this fine sandy beach is lifeguarded from 1st July to 31st August, according to tide times.
In July and August, a tiralo beach wheelchair is at your disposal free of charge at the promenade lifeguard station. You will find specially adapted parking and toilets for physically impaired visitors opposite the Saint-Aubin hotel.
As for dogs, rules pertaining to their presence on the beach are as follows:
- From 1st May to 30th September and during French school holidays: not permitted on the beach as from the Le Crabe Vert restaurant and up to the sailing school.
- The rest of the year: Dogs are tolerated in all zones provided they are kept on a leash.
