Two-kilometre seafront promenade with 3 equipped access ramps to the beach.
Bathing is under lifeguard surveillance from 6th July to 1st September.
Official regulations pertaining to dogs on the beach: prohibited in the high season on the promenade and the beach, from the Platon slipway to Place du Canada.
Permitted on a leash from the Platon slipway to the Caf Fun campsite in Courseulles-sur-Mer.
A ‘Tourism & Handicap’ certified Handymer site:
with shower, WC, changing area with medical bed, armchair, microwave oven and refrigerator. Tiralo and Hippocampe beach wheelchairs are also available on loan, on request. Location: on the promenade near the lifeguard post. Access via the Place North Nova Scotia Highlanders. GPS coordinates: 49 20’ 6’’ O: 0 25’27’’. Parking suitable for disabled visitors.
