Parapente Mania, based in Clécy, in the heart of the picturesque Suisse Normande area, is a paragliding base for you to discover this thrilling sport in Normandy, all year long, during an initiation or a longer course.
Come and discover the thrills of a tandem flight and initiation into paragliding and, if you take a liking, you can even join a longer course. Flights are supervised by qualified and experienced instructors. In total safety, with recently acquired equipment, discover the skies and the landscapes of Caen as you fly over the Suisse Normande region to the south of Calvados (Clécy, Pont-d’Ouilly) or the historic D-Day Landing beaches and Second World War heritage sites (Omaha Beach) from the paragliding sites of Vierville-sur-Mer, Commes and Tracy-sur-Mer (Arromanches). To ensure you enjoy the best possible flying conditions for your first experience, flights are subject to weather conditions. Depending on the number of bookings, we occasionally move to the neighbouring department of Manche, where you can fly over the southern sites of Granville, Carolles and Champeaux in the bay opposite the Mont Saint-Michel. Parapente Mania also proposes equipment for sale in its online paragliding store (wings, saddle, reserve chute, helmet, accessories, etc.). You will find all the leading brand names: Ozone, Sup’air, U-Turn, Woody Valley, Up, etc. So, leave the orchards and pastures and take to the heights for a tour of Calvados from a truly original angle, with Parapente Mania.
