Within the prestigious setting of the reception hall at Corlet Numérique in Condé-sur-Noireau.
In the foyer of Corlet Numérique’s premises in Condé-sur-Noireau, you will be greeted by some of the printing plant’s former employees who will teach you all about typesetting and typographical printing, using equipment dating back to the early 19th century. During the visit, you can see a working linotype machine (on request), manual printing presses, a pedal-powered press and a working Ofmi Heidelberg press. You will also find a variety of other equipment, lead and wooden type, stereotypes of all kinds, cutters, type cases and a wealth of information about the printing trade. Don’t miss a visit to “Moments d'histoire à la Une” (Front page splash moments) exhibition in the mezzanine.
