You can park your car in the residence’s private car park. Parking is included in the rental rate.

In the high season, various ‘Mickey Clubs’ can welcome your children (Cabourg is awarded the ‘Famille Plus’ family-friendly label). This promenade runs along the seafront and takes you to the Grand Hôtel, the famed place of residence of Marcel Proust, the old Belle Epoque charm of which is sure to charm you. It was also in this delightful hotel that French films such as ‘Le Coeur des Hommes’ (The Heart of Men) and ‘The Intouchables’ were filmed.

700m from the sailing club, 1.2km from the mini-golf with sea views, 500m from the town centre and restaurants, cinema, casino, market 4 days a week and every day during school holidays, offering a range of regional produce.

400m from the racecourse where you can watch the nocturnal trotting races, with or without harness, every Tuesday and Friday in the high season. During races, you can also visit the stables or enjoy a snack (traditional sandwiches) or a full meal in one of two restaurants - one of which offers gourmet cuisine overlooking the race track, the other offering a brasserie menu.

Nearby, you can visit the stud farms that breed the famous trotting race horses you can admire on the beach.
Cycling enthusiasts will find a large choice of cycle routes in and around the town.

And those looking for some thrills and spills are sure to appreciate the go-karting track just 1km away.
For your day-to-day needs and groceries, there is a grocery store 150m away, a supermarket within 1km and a shopping centre 2km away.


Cabourg is also the ideal base for touring Normandy, its typical bocage countryside in particular.
Here, you are just a few kilometres from the D-Day Landing beaches (the first museum is within 5km at the Merville Artillery Battery). You can then discover Arromanches and its museum and artificial harbour (a unique site built during the Second World War to land the Allied troops).
The rental is also just a few kilometres from the picturesque Suisse Normande area and historic Falaise.
Here, you are in the heart of a region offering a range of regional produce - and the possibility to visit production sites: camembert, pont l’évêque and livarot cheeses, cider, pommeau, calvados, etc. (to consume in due moderation of course). Cider Route and Camembert Route.

25km from Caen and its Mémorial for peace visitor centre, focusing on the Second World War - not to be missed!

36km from Honfleur and the magnificent Pont de Normandie bridge which takes you direct to Le Havre (a Unesco world heritage site), then along the coast, you can visit Etretat (famous for its pebbled beach and stunning cliff formations and needles (immortalised by the French writer Maurice Leblanc and his character, Arsène Lupin).
Fécamp and its stunning Benedictine abbey, where the liqueur of the same name is produced.
100km from Rouen and its museums and cathedral, and 160km from the Mont Saint-Michel.
You can even make a day trip to England via the Caen-Ouistreham car ferry, or simply enjoy the return cruise by staying onboard.

At 7pm the second last weekend in August, a giant picnic is organised on the Marcel Proust seafront promenade. A vast fireworks display offers a grand finale to this friendly event.
