You will find the Domaine de l’Hostellerie in the heart of the Thue valley, 13km from Caen and 14km from the seaside resort of Courseulles-sur-Mer.
Built in 1791, the estate originally accommodated and offered meals to occasional travellers.
Many vestiges remain from this period: construction date carved on the house walls, watch tower on the rooftop of the main house, from where lookouts announced the arrival of travellers, the arches in the secondary building where the horses that drew the carriages took rest.
With my husband Gilles, we have striven to preserve this tradition in the estate within which we are now delighted to welcome you.
Its central location is perfect for touring all the beauties of our lovely region, at a leisurely pace. Caen and its castle, Bayeux and its famous Tapestry, the Côte de Nacre coast and the D-Day Landing beaches.
The building is exclusively reserved for our guests.
Entirely refurbished in 2016, it offers you an ideal nest to quietly recharge your batteries within a site steeped in history.
Over a romantic break, or a holiday with family or friends, our two guest rooms, each with a sleeping capacity of 4 guests are sure to offer you a pleasant and successful stay.
