Standing at the entrance to the old harbour, La Lieutenance – a fully restored, magnificent boat – is home to an Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre; this unusual venue offers an immersive tour, allowing visitors to discover the history of Honfleur over the centuries. After visiting the halls, the exhibition continues on the external terraces of La Lieutenance. An incredible 360° view of bays of Honfleur presents itself. From this elevated spot, you'll be able to understand the landscape and observe the town, its layout and its port facilities with the help of models, tracking its evolution over time thanks to virtual reconstructions offered via binoculars.
