Set off to discover the picturesque Suisse Normande area aboard a kayak or stand-up paddle, on Calvados’ best known river.
Aboard a canoe, a kayak or a stand-up paddle, leave from Pont d'Ouilly and make your way down the Orne towards Caen, as you marvel at the rugged landscapes of the picturesque Suisse Normande area and the Orne Valley. Just slide along the meanders and breathe in the preserved natural environment around you.
This 57 km waterside tour can be completed over full or half-days, as you like and in pace with your own physical comfort. The watersports facilities (clubs and equipment hire) on the banks of the Orne are there to advise you, with the possibility of taking you back to your departure point. It is the only waterside itinerary of this length in Calvados!
