From Falaise to Jumièges, this new 265 km itinerary crosses the Pays d'Auge to link it to the Seine. The Chevauchée du Pays d'Auge à la Seine follows the Risle valley, immersing you in a land dotted with stud farms, where the horse is king.
Stage 4: Notre-Dame-de-Courson - Orbec
Leaving the Touques valley at Notre Dame de Courson, your route takes you to the miraculous waters of the Croupte spring, then on to Fervaques, a village of preserved architecture that inspired Eugène Boudin, and its 16th-century château. From here, the route passes through a succession of wooded areas (Bois de Fervaques, Bois de la Motte), with the discovery of charming villages. One of them, Tordouet, evokes the three douets (streams) that run through the village. The stage ends in Orbec, a beautiful village whose typical Pays d?Auge architecture has preserved a remarkable collection of half-timbered houses.
