Departing from Potigny, this 35km round trip trek takes you on a discovery trail of this part of Calvados’ mining history.
Meander your way through the vestiges of Western France’s greatest iron ore mine. Along your way, vestiges from the past appear - some of them discreet… so keep a watchful eye. And around these spots bearing witness to the site’s industrial past, the itinerary also offers a variety of extraordinary landscapes, from heath to hedgerow, via verdant plains. Fellow riders, you can take a well-deserved break with your horse during the many visits on option throughout your trek: churches, Livet mining museum, Château d’Assy, etc.
