Discover one of our rural villages just outside Caen.
This pretty commune was founded in the 11th century by the Lords of Anisy, one of the oldest families in Normandy.
Take a look at the 15th-century Anisy manor house and its beautiful pond, fed by numerous local springs. The Romanesque church, listed as a historic monument since 1927, was built as early as the 11th century.
In the main street, preserved from the bombardments of June 1944, you'll find many 18th-century stone houses typical of the Caen plain.
