Discover the Château de Vouilly which became, from June 10 to August 12, 1944, the headquarters of the first American press camp. Guided tour by Laure and James, owners of the castle
The visit begins with a general explanation of the history of the castle and its buildings. Then the visit continues with the press room, the headquarters of the first American press camp in France, which hosted fifty reporters including Ernest Hemingway, Robert Capa, John G Morris, for 2 months.
Followed by the visit of the dovecote, the orangery and its pavilions, with the gardens.
