Description
Opening of the BAYEUX BRODERIE workshop in Bayeux in Normandy (F). Chantal James, Master craftsman, welcomes you to discover together and discuss her specialty for more than 20 years : Bayeux stitch embroidery. You will be able to see the embroidery and embroidery kits with reproductions of the famous Bayeux Tapestry, but also other patterns still made in the workshop. This embroidery is special, it is made in wool on linen as in the 11th century. As the workshop BAYEUX broderie is small, this year it will not be possible to accept two ""families"" together. Each person must also respect the barrier gestures. You will find all the details on my website. It's possible to speak English (not always correct) but we will be able to understand each other.
