Circuit-Expo plein-air "Dans leurs pas"

FMANOR014V53H3S0

Description

Their names are Leonard, Thomas or Françoise, they are Canadian, British or French, soldiers or civilians and they were present in June 1944 on our Normandy beaches.

Some of them landed on Juno Beach, others lived on the Côte de Nacre and had been waiting for the Allies for many months; they tell us what they experienced and reveal the images that have remained in their memories forever? the fear, the anguish, the noise, the bloody battle, the arrival of the Canadian soldiers with their funny accent and finally the joy of being liberated

The team of the tourist office C?ur de Nacre and the Juno Beach Center are happy to announce the return of the exhibition "In their footsteps" which pays tribute to the actors and witnesses of the Second World War.

Structures present on the communes of Courseulles-sur-Mer, Bernières-sur-Mer, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, Langrune-sur-Mer, Luc-sur-Mer, Reviers and Douvres-la-Délivrande
