La flamme olympique passera par Isigny-Omaha !



The Olympic flame will pass through Omaha Beach on Thursday, May 30, 2024!

To begin its journey in Calvados, the Olympic flame will set off from Omaha Beach on May 30 at 7:55 am. It will arrive by sea at the Signal monument in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer. Official torchbearers will then escort it along the beach to the American military cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer.

For the first time in the history of the Games, relay teams of 24 people will take part in the torch relay. The French Equestrian Federation will be running the team relay on Omaha Beach, led by Pénélope Leprévost.

Accompanied by 23 riders, the Rouen-based rider and show jumping champion is currently preparing for the Paris Olympic Games.

The list of other relay riders and their locations will be announced shortly.

This international event will represent a great moment of cohesion and unity around sport for the public. Accessibility and safety conditions will be announced shortly.
