The Domaine des Enclos is an exceptional 33-hectare park which was bequeathed to the city of Deauville in 1973.
It was purchased by Calouste Gulbenkian (1869-1955), businessman, aesthete and one of the greatest art collectors of the 20th century, in 1937. He created the garden he was dreaming of and entrusted the works to landscaper Achille Duchêne.
Seventy years later, Le parc des Enclos is still a magic place, an unknown and joyful secret garden in Deauville. It has maintained the charm and the beauty his creator designed at the time with a rare sensitivity.
NB: the Park will be exceptionally closed on the weekend from June 22nd to 23rd for the International Deauville Triathlon.
ACCESS TO THE DOMAINE DES ENCLOS
From Deauville, take avenue de la République towards Blonville / Villers-sur-mer, passing by Tourgéville (D513). On the heights of Bénerville, turn left towards the Mont-Canisy. At the roundabout after the church, take “Chemin des Enclos”. 500 m further, you’ll see the entrance of the park. It’s about 4,5 km away from the railway station of Deauville-Trouville.
