Oops! Too late - sorry, you've missed this event.

The Soroptimist Association “oranges” the Côte Fleurie. The international Soroptimist club and that of Deauville-Trouville will “orange” their cities for 15 days and participate to markets or meeting to raise awareness about violence against women.

The film titled “Une femme d’exception” directed by Mimi Leder and starring Felicity Jones (“Inferno”, “Rogue One a Star Wars Story”), will be projected on December 1st. The collected profits will be used to show this film to more than 1,300 high school students at the CID of Deauville to arise round-table discussions between professionals and students and launch educational projects led by the students of the region.
A statue, symbolizing violence against women, will be placed on the Casino Square of Deauville from November 25th to December 10th. It will be the starting point of a march of over 2-km crossing Deauville and Trouville-sur-mer held on December 1st at 11 am. More broadly, the Soroptimist Association -renowned worldwide for its actions in favour of women, daughters and children equality- will be directly involved in the project to promote meetings and partnerships between associations, decision makers and the public.
