Calvados Time: Put your boots on and join us over an afternoon in the orchard
This small village nestles 2km from Cambremer, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge. There, a 17th-century manor and outbuildings are home to the cider farm now run by Stéphane and Lucile Grandval, both with a passion for apples, cider and calvados. Some 28 hectares of orchards where Normande cows graze peacefully… the perfect picture postcard image of Normandy! Stéphane and Lucile welcome you to their orchards, and are delighted to introduce you to the twenty different cider apple varieties they grow, using organic farming techniques. Then you will head for the press, the still and the ageing cellars. At the end of your afternoon tour, you can enjoy a taste of some local fare associated with products from the farm.
