Ye-Eun CHOI, violinist from South Korea
Ye-Eun Choi was born in Seoul, where she started playing with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 10. She moved to Munich in 2004 to work with Ana Chumachenco at the Music and Art University of Munich.
Ye-Eun Choi is defined by her dynamic sound, rich with vibrant timbre, sensitivity and nuance. It’s an extremely rare mix. Ye-Eun Choi is an extraordinary soloist and chamber musician. Her colourful, expressive lyricism and virtuosity is acclaimed by the international press. She plays a violin by J.B. Guadagnini, Parma, of 1765. Guadagnini, Parme, de l’année 1765.

Dmitry Shishkin, Russian pianist
Dmitry Shishkin is a Russian pianist and composer. Shishkin, born in Chelyabinsk in Siberia, showed extraordinary talent for piano from a very early age. Aged 3, he performed his first piano recital and when he was 6 he delivered his first orchestra concert. Three years later, he attended prestigious music school Gnessin of Moscow for gifted children, where he studied with Mikhail Khokhlov, then at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow as a pupil of Elisso Virssaladze. He is currently studying at State Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini with Epifanio Comis in Catania, Sicily and at the Musikhochschule of Hanover with Arie Vardi.
He gained the 1st Prize at the 73rd Geneva contest in November 2018 with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
He is acclaimed by the international press that highlights his creative approach, singularity and brilliant piano competences: “Excellence and joyfulness make integral part of Shishkin’s performance.”
