In 2012, Myriam Ayari, Nicolas Collinet and Matthieu Normand, determined to shed new light on music, founded a trio focused on piano playing with 6 hands: "MNM".

Their concert shows are entirely played with 6 hands on a piano and supported by the joyful setting. These musicians bring together a renowned repertoire of pieces made for this type of group, but also multiple transcriptions, sometimes arranged by the trio.

They focus on symphonic music and opera to reinvent the piano as a “pocket orchestra”. MNM Trio also performs rare pieces of the contemporary repertoire and turns towards jazz or tango.

The ensemble gained the Prix Horlait-Dapsens and awards at the Octaves de la Musique 2018. They often perform in Belgium (Brussels Festival, Festival de Wallonie, Théâtre Marni, Salle Flagey, Festival Propulse, Festival Musiq’3…) and in other countries (France, Germany, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Congo, Gabon..).
