A varied program featuring French music was conceived by Bertrand Chamayou, a renowned guest of the Easter Festival of Deauville. It pays tribute to Saint-Saëns, a brilliant and voluptuous genius, and to Chabrier and Hahn. The latter was a Marcel Proust’s friend who recorded several albums but delivered just a few concerts.

Camille Saint-Saëns (1835 – 1921)
Fantasy for violin and harp Op. 124

Camille Saint-Saëns
Trio for violin, cello and piano No. 2 Op. 92

Emmanuel Chabrier (1841 – 1894)
Three romantic waltzes for two pianos (1833)

Reynaldo Hahn (1874 – 1947)
"The Untied Ribbon” waltz for two pianos (1915)

Maurice Ravel
La Valse For two pianos (1920)
