Oops! Too late - sorry, you've missed this event.

The Musical August of Deauville was originally created by the founders of the Easter Festival to meet the most promising musicians and chamber ensembles of their generation. Since then, older and younger musicians have been performing both at Easter and in summer nine concerts that explore a large music period, extending from the baroque music to the 20th century.
Voice is the major guest this summer, as proved by extremely charming revelations like mezzo-soprano Adèle Charvet and Marie-Laure Garnier, soprano Clémentine Decouture and tenor Paco Garcia. Baroque, romantic and modern voices are accompanied by equally charming instrumental pieces of the same era.
Brilliant composer Olivier Greif deceased in 2000 at the age of 50. Two of the impressive vocal cycles he wrote are performed and recorded by “Deauville live” collection of the B Records label.
Lise Berthaud, leading figure of Deauville festivals, will join his young colleagues and friends: Guillaume Bellom, Ismaël Margain, quartets Hermès and Hanson, Shuichi Okada, Amaury Viduvier, Justin Taylor, Philippe Hattat and Alexandra Soumm.
Yan Levionnois accompanies the reading of the famous Illuminations by Rimbaud with his cello.
Like every year, these pieces are available for free on music.aquarelle, where you can listen to them without moderation.
