The Souterroscope des Ardoisières is a unique site located in Calvados: underground, you will discover the former slate quarry, hollowed out in the 19th century in Caumont l'Éventé, in the heart of the Normandy Bocage.
The quarry is illuminated as you make your way through your visit, offering you a fascinating view of its various subterranean galleries. A sound and light show highlights the site's groundwater layer.
Giant screen videos and a mineral exhibition complete your visit.
At ground level, 2 hectares of leisure area accessible to disabled visitors.
