1 - Bayeux Pork
Bayeux pork is one of France's 6 remaining local breeds.
It is the result of crossbreeding between Norman pork and Berkshire pork.
The particularity of Bayeux Pork is that it is traditionally bred on whey, cereals and nettles.
It is easily recognisable thanks to its white coat speckled with round black spots.
The Bayeux Pork fair is held every year on the second weekend in October, in Bayeux of course!
