Cider makers and distillers contribute towards the renown of Normandy's gastronomy. Several producers are delighted to welcome you and to offer you a glass of cider, apple juice or calvados, in due moderation of course. Epicurean visitors to Normandy are also sure to appreciate the Cider Route!
Discover how Normandy's famous cheeses, such as camembert, livarot and pont l'évêque are made at the Graindorge cheese dairy. The famous Andouille de Vire chitterling sausage is also among Normandy's typical gourmet delights: Mr Asselot is delighted to welcome you for a tour of his "kitchens". During your visit to Vire, don't forget to pop in at the Guy Degrenne factory - internationally renowned for its fine cutlery and tableware.
